We dig Grace Jones’ video for Corporate Cannibal, directed by Nick Hooker. She has become pure electronic pulse. Her 10th studio album, Hurricane – the first new work she’s released in a decade, is set to be released on Wall of Sound records in October. Grace is 60 years-old now and still on top of her shit.

There’s nothing a girl despises more than bad cologne. Yet, it’s become so hard for guys to choose a good, subtle AND sexy scent these days. With hundred of new fragrances releases per year, we tend to rely on commercials & outdated classics to guide our choice, and so often the result feels counter natural. Mustang perfume? No, thanks.
My take on everything beauty is that most of the time, less is more. I’m infatuated with the fresh notes of citrus, spearmint, and lavender in the Aveda Men hair care line. The fact that it’s actually grooming products and not an actual perfume makes the line even more appealing to me. Feels more organic, more virile, maybe? Take my word for it, this one’s a straight up aphrodisiac.
We’ve been wishing for a new flick by the Cohen Brothers featuring the Pitt/Clooney bro-mance not to mention John Malkovich.
Burn After Reading opens in theaters on September 12. Here’s the trailer.

Overseen cruising the shores of Symi, Rhodes and Monaco over the summer, here’s a shot of the “Guilty,” just featured on highsnobiety.com. Jeff Koon’s latest design, a yacht owned by art collector Dakis Joannou, was reportedly inspired by WW1 camouflage patterns. We however think it’s hard to miss, but wouldn’t mind rollin’ with the crew for a few days.

Sneakers are just a new medium for Jayson Atienza, who’s been spreading his signature ink and watercolor style – virus like, stained glass on acid – to canvases, apparel and handbags before. Atienza, who grew up drawing and designing, now gets commissioned by OBCs including the likes of Jeremy Piven, Tiger Woods and David Lachapelle to customize vintage kicks into pieces of urban art. The cheapest pair goes for $1000.
Jayson graduated from The School of Visual Arts in 1999 with a BFA in Advertising. He’s working now as an Art Director at advertising firm BBDO in New York, which is how we know him. Watch for these kicks in the upcoming documentary ‘Know You Got Sole!,” directed by Sean Williams – also producer and co-host of OSD, a new 24 hour video channel totally dedicated shoe culture.

This is going into my Art Basel outfits wish list.
We’re fans on Facebook. Jayson’s into Full On Lemonade.
