Green Candy

| by admin | category: Play

This is not your regular tree-hugger candy. Despite our all natural premises, we at GURU do enjoy deviance to a certain extent, and so we’re excited to try Tailor’s signature absinthe gummy bears. The goodies reportedly are served by the piece (moderation, babies) at the end of your three-course meal, with expresso. We anticipate a sweet dose of corruption and a fair amount of subsequent poetic blog entries, possibly even some spontaneous haut-de-forme sporting.

Tailor, 525 Broome (between Thompson and Sullivan), NYC.

Guerilla Forecast

“Babies are the new skulls,” Eli Fife Cragin boldly stated, as he candidly handed FAY and I the laser-eyed baby sticker above, two nights ago at the 3B’s garden mad tea party. 23-year-old Cragin, who launched a few years ago the Youthful Stylings of Kooter Brown, a simple, colorful collection of organic cotton t-shirts, is our style guru of the week. By day, he styles for Terry Richardson and lunches with Victoria Beckham (please, acknowledge the link, I just had to pop the Ali G interview in here…).

His homepage, at kooter4real.com, cracked me up with odd sounds of pots of mayo popping open, analog telephones rings and visuals of flying toothbrushes. Worth the trip. Is grunge coming back from the dead? We somehow secretly hope so.
