This is a screen shot of Mare Street E8 by Digital Club, somewhere in London.
“We made an animated film that comprises a close-up of a biker’s visor as he cruises through an abstraction of the streets of London’s East End at ultra high speed, explains Digital Club’s Tommi Eberwein. It’s kind of a futuristic high gloss ode to London and our favourite time of day: the night.”

Gotham fashion tycoon Diane Von Furstenberg created, in partnership with illustrator Konstantin Kakanias and DC Comics, a limited-edition, Wonder Woman-inspired comic book to promote her first ever Holiday collection in 2008. The premise, ‘be the Wonder Woman you can be,’ is great, universal and timeless, and the design is well executed. The story itself, tracing the everyday lives of all-American heroines Diva, Viva and Fifa, is however a bit spiceless. See for yourself. If not to be inspirational, what’s the purpose of comic books?

We’d expect more from a lady who once said, fresh married to the Prince Egon Von Furstenberg back in 1969 : “The minute I knew I was about to be Egon’s wife, I decided to have a career. I wanted to be someone of my own, and not just a plain little girl who got married beyond her desserts.”
All in all, the collection is truly kickass and I want ALL of the dresses! So I guess it’s mission accomplished for DVF, she sure does look like Wonder Woman – and I got my Halloween costume.
