Guitar Center will hold on January 10 the finale & 20th Anniversary of the World’s Largest Drum Competition, Drum-Off ‘08 – in Hollywood. From a field of nearly 5,000, they’re now six of the best undiscovered drummers in the U.S. Among the panel of judges for the final Drum-Off are Adrian Young (No Doubt), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Kenny Aronoff, The Rev (Avenged Sevenfold) and Danny Carey (Tool).

Live performances by Papa Roach, Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden, Jason Bittner of Shadows Fall, plus a special collaborative performance by Thomas Pridgen of Mars Volta and Thomas Lang.  There are over 70% chances that this turns out to be a really cool crowd.
