Peter Funch shot the same corner in New York City everyday at the same hour for twenty days – then meticulously photoshopped the images he captured to create the Babel Tales series. The goal of the exercise was to show human synchronicity in a large metropolis. The result is pure genious.

Funch, born in Danemark in 1974, graduated in photojournalism from the Danish school of journalism in 2000. He now lives in NY.

GURU’s art director Justin Dallegret for I love Neon
The Shows That Never Happened, curated by Pink Mafia and Dejour Magazine, opens tomorrow night in Toronto @ Czehoski 678 Queen St. West.
The group show features seven of Canada’s top graphic designers working on the cutting edge of commercial art: flyers and posters for hundreds of club, concert, film and a variety of other events in entertainment. Along the way, some shows were cancelled and the art, never viewed by the public.
But the posters remained… The Céline one is hilarious… Canada’s pride: Neon or Dion?
