ALL FUN AND GAME AT FREE GOLD WATCH

Free Gold Watch. It’s kitchsy but never cheesy, cool but a bit nerdy, and a completely dynamic printing shop. I mean… you come to get your company’s screenprinting done and play some pinball while you wait on getting business done. Working with tons of local artists and small business as well as big business and corporations in addition to local odd jobs for softball leagues and bands, Free Gold Watch is a well-rounded business.

Founded by Jeffrey Levine, Free Gold Watch was born about a year after he had began printing in his garage. The name is derived from an early sweatshirt design that always included watches printed on the inside. He made a sign at a little sample sale that said, “Free Gold Watch.” It caught the public’s eye, he bought the online domain and continued on to create his business.

This isn’t to say that it has all been smooth sailing – apparently they are located on a block where pinball machines are illegal (the only block in San Francisco where they are outlawed, mind you) due to a law that dates back to the 1930′s. A petition was quickly spread around to protect the shop’s rights to play on.

I couldn’t get enough of the store’s vibes – laidback vintage sentimentality is everywhere, from its arcade games and records to the store’s rad decor. Head over to their website here to take care of your screenprinting needs and support a local business all at once!
