Powerful stimulant from Brazil

Helps increase alertness & vitality

A powerful natural stimulant, guarana (Paullinia cupana), is a creeping shrub native to the Amazon. The use of this medicinal plant by natives predates the discovery of Brazil, and its many secrets and benefits were passed on to settlers throughout the centuries. Today, the plant is known and used worldwide as a general tonic source of energy. Its active component, guaranine, is proven to have tonic and astringent properties; it acts on the central nervous system to prevent fatigue and to break down lactic acid resulting from muscle stress. It is also used in Europe and the United States to relieve headaches and rheumatic pain.

Panax ginseng Root extract

Helps enhance physical stamina & reduce fatigue

Helps boost immune system

Panax, commonly referred to as ginseng, is a genus of perennial herbs in the Araliaceae (ginseng family). It has been cultivated for thousands of years on mountains throughout China, Korea, and Japan. Ginseng means “the essence of the earth in the form of a man”, and in fact the root’s shape suggests the human form. Panax ginseng is considered the most potent and expensive form of ginseng.

Ginseng is an adaptogen, an herb that can improve the body's overall ability to adapt to and cope with the negative effects of physical and environmental stress. Clinical studies confirm that ginseng can help enhance endurance, reduce fatigue, and improve coordination and reaction time. There is also some evidence that ginseng can boost immune function, helping the body fight off infection during times of stress. In laboratory studies, ginseng has shown potential in protecting liver and heart health, regulating the function of reproductive hormones, normalizing cholesterol and blood sugar levels, and improving memory and learning.

Thousands of clinical, laboratory and animal studies have been performed to investigate the actions and chemistry of ginseng. Much of this research has been performed in China, Korea and Japan. The best-documented effects of ginseng in humans are for improving resistance to stress and enhancing mental and physical performance under environmental stress, such as shift work, sleep deprivation, or rigorous athletic training.

Ginkgo biloba comes from the oldest living tree on earth, known as the tree of knowledge. From the age of the dinosaurs, the tree is more than 250 million years old and reaches up to 40 m in height. The beneficial effects of its leaves were recorded by the Chinese as far back as 2800 B.C.

Although it helps a number of respiratory conditions such as asthma, ginkgo biloba is essentially a mental stimulant: it improves short-term memory, enhances concentration, and promotes mental alertness. It is also known to improve blood circulation through the body and brain and is widely recognized for its anti-aging and longevity properties. The Herb Research Foundation (a non-profit organization in Boulder, Colorado) recommends that it be taken daily for periods of 4 to 6 weeks for optimum effects. Containing ginkgo flavone glycosides and ginkgoterpenoids, ginkgo biloba is mostly known for its capacity to improve mental acuity. The following pharmacological effects have been established:

- Increased memory performance and learning capacity
- Improved blood circulation
- Neuroprotective effect

Echinacea comes in the form of a short shrub with purple flowers. Indigenous to North America, and considered sacred among North American Indian tribes, echinacea is in demand all across the globe for its antiseptic properties and its capacity to strengthen the immune system.

In the past 50 years in the U.S., extensive lab tests have proven the beneficial effects of echinacea. In Germany, more than 200 pharmaceutical preparations are made with it.
